The scale is so damn frustrating.
Our bodies are made up of so many different elements, bone, muscle, water, fat. Your weight on the scale can fluctuate day to day based on so many factors. What you ate the day before. If it’s that time of the month. If we got enough water or not enough. If you gained muscle.
My point is, is that it’s not a good indicator of health, and it’s not helpful on your fitness journey. Often times it’s super discouraging since it fluctuates so much and it demotivates rather than motivates.
How about you get in tune with how you feel. Do you feel good about your food choices? Does it give you energy or make you want to take a nap? What about your workouts? Do they make you feel powerful? Or do they make you feel defeated?
